MINUTES OF THE DECEMBER 5th MEETING OF THE PORT KIWANIS

NEXT MEETING: Tues. Dec.12th at 6:30 P.M. at Nisleit's. Speaker ,questionable.

MEETING: The meeting was called to order at 6:35P.M. by Pres. Elect Sally. Bob Koch
introduced the Director of the Madrigal Chorus, Dennis Gebhart, who introduced us to
the singers. The Madrigals are a very talented group, having won the state
championship last year. They performed for nearly a half hour and were greeted with
a great round of applause.  Paul Ehrlich, the Pres. of the Foundation  , presented
the group with a donation toward the expenses of the planned trip to Italy where
they will perform in 4 cities.
Attendance-----28 members and 12 guests.

Pledge---------Led by Pres. elect Sally
Songs---------After dinner we sang Christmas carols led by Marc.
Drawing-----Won by Lee. $19 to the club.
Door prizes---- won by Kenny and Marvin.
Auction---------Box of meats from Bernies bought by Sally for $37.
Basket ofwine and goodies bought by Liz Erlwig for$36.

Santa had a gift for Max Mitchell and one for Kendra Strohm.

GOOD NEWS:About a half dozen  had good news and donated to the administration fund.

CALENDAR OF EVENTS: Kohler Christmas Party-Dec. 20th at the American Club. Let sally
know if you plan to go.
