MINUTES OF THE OCTOBER 31st MEETING OF THE PORT KIWANIS.

October 31, 2006                            No.5 , 2006-2007

NEXT MEETING: Tuesday November 7th at 6:30 P.M. at NIsleit's. Karen will have
several Circle K members from the UWM campus as speakers.
The Foundation will meet  on Tuesday the 14th at 5:45 P.M.
The board will meet at 8 A.M. at the Rusty Anchor on Saturday the 18th. This date
has been moved up from the 11th.

MEETING: THe meeting was called to order at 7:07 P.M. by Pres. John Sigwart.
Attendance------27 Members and Little Max Mitchell.
Pledge-----Led by Pres. John.
Song-----No song tonight.
Drawing---- Two drawings of $10 each. First was won by Kenny Mitchell. The second
was won by Bob Koch. $10 to the club.
Prayer-------We closed the meeting with a prayer by Rev. Knox.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. The Board meeting is delayed until the 18th at the Rusty Anchor.
2.Christmas Party is Tuesday Dec. 5th. The H.S. Madrigal singers will preform for
us.The choir will be taking a trip to Italy and will make a pitch for an expenses
donation.
3.Eat Around---Jerry will look into having us do a meeting each quarter at another
restaurant.
4.PR Committee---Will meet at the Mitchell's on Monday Nov. 13th. 1832 Parknoll ln.

5. Playground----Meeting at Lowell Tainters at 4 P.M. Sunday , Nov. 5th. ,558 W.
Walters st. phone 284 - 4277.
5. WOYC---April 22 -28.
6.Governor's Banquet----January 13th in West Bend.
7. K -University- Feb. 17th at Stevens Point.This is in lieu of A Mid-Winter
conference.
8.Div.11 Council Meeting---Monday Jan. 22nd at the Fire House Pizza in Sheboygan
Falls at 6 P.M.
9. Peanut Day--Is Saturday Nov.4th from 8 A.M. until 4 P.M. at Piggly wiggly ,
Wal-Mart's and Sentry. Louise will call on Fri. evening to remind you of your
schedule. Peanuts and Aprons will be at the Starting Points.

GOOD NEWS: About 5-10 members had good news last week.

Program---- This was Halloween Party Night. Nearly everyone wore a costume. Judging
was done in four categories and prizes awarded. The costumes were very creative.
Everyone seemed to have a good time.

CALENDAR OF EVENTS: Meals on wheels on Nov. 1st.  Meeting Tues. Nov. 7th at Nisleits
,Circle Ker's from UWM. Tuesday Nov 14th no Speaker as of now.
