MINUTES OF THE AUGUST 22nd MEETING OF THE PORT KIWANIS
George Lampert fell on his way to Kiwanis. Weldon and Louise took him to the Emergency Room at Col.-St Mary's. They did a Cat Scan and X-Rays. No broken bones. They bandaged his bruises and sent him home at 9 P.M.

GOOD NEWS: $20 worth of good news was gathered.Lowell is holding the money until he sees Louise.
ANNOUNCEMENTS: Lowell will be 82 this week. Karen has started a new batch of home made broth.
PROGRAM: Bob Koch introduced the speaker of the evening,Eric Burke, the Activities Director for Port High and Class of 1986 ; 20 year homecoming reunion. This Friday's game with Plymouth will feature a brat fry at the shelter at 6P.M.
The football team has some good athletes.We are hoping for a good season.
VK Developer has contributed $100,000 for lights at the new soccer field.

Sally, Louise and Weldon attended the Annual Kiwanis WI/UM convention in Eau Claire thi past weekend. More on that later.
