We are still looking for an advisor for the Key Club for the coming year. Jeff Calies is looking into finding one.

Meeting Place-----We will meet at Mama Mia's on July 25th. Then every Tuesday evening in August we will meet at Nisleit's. A final decision will be determined later.

PLAY GROUND ---- Several of the Play Ground Committee met with the Parks and Rec Dept. It was decided that a huge accessible play ground be constructed to attract participants from the surrounding communities to the Port area. To do this it is recommended that a Community Committee be formed and headed by Kiwanis. This Approach is being pursued.

PRELIMINARY FISH DAY REPORT:

John Sigwart gave us the to-date report on this years Fish Day since Gene Giltner , the new Fish Day chairperson, is in Michigan.
John told us how sales for everyone were down this year. We grossed about $22,000 as compared to about $28,000 last year. He surmises that we will net about $8-9,000.
We had 25 Kiwanians, 45 non-kiwanians and a clean-up crew manning the stand this year. We really can't expand the size of our stand unless we have a larger active membership.

However, everything went very smoothly . The tear down and clean-up couldn't have been better. This year the fryers were all cleand and stored in a convenient location in Pete Didier's barn.
Thanks to all who participated!!!
