CHRISTMAS PARADE IS A WINNER
“Children of the World
Sailing into Port”
was our theme which was the
perfect extension of the official theme the Parade Committiee adopted, “Sailing
into Port”.
We converted a members power
boat into a sailing boat for the evening. Filled it with members of the TJ
Builders Club. Marching with our Kiwanis members were Key Club members and our
special guests AFS students, Maxwell Botrus (Max) from



A special thank you to the
Parade Committee that put together such a super parade with 60 units, the most
anyone can remember. Next year they are already talking of how it can be
made even better.
The spectators were great
also. They stood in that windy 10 degree weather.
POOL TIMING SYSTEM DEDICATED
The bulkhead was to be the first of the ailing pool
items to be replaced but a total failure of the old timing system changed the
priorities.
At the last Girls swim meet
this fall a timing system had to be barrowed.
At the District Men’s Relay
Meet held Friday January 5th, the pool was dedicated.

Not only at the end of the
event can you clearly see the finish places. In the photo lane #1 finished 7th
and lane #3 finished 1st.
During the race it tracks what lane is in a given position. One feature
the swimmers like is they can see their time after 50 meters.
