EAGLE SCOUT TO
Brian Schanen’s Eagle Scout Project is to build new
buildings and
storage carts for
The buildings are 10 years
old and show their age.
Past storage was not easy on
the buildings and so special storage carts
will be constructed for safe
storage of the new buildings.
Both Brian and Kiwanis have a
vested interest in
Brian was in the first
graduating class ten years ago.
And since has been an
instructor at
Kiwanis now has assumed the
lead sponsorship role since the
Junior Women’s club has
disbanded.

We have an opportunity to save some money when we order books for
Week of the Young Child
(WOYC) thru Scholastic Books in
go to Scholastic and putting in some time.

sales we sign people up to volunteer by working at the check outs or greeting
customers
and answering
the phones. We are able to pay our volunteers $10.00 per hour in books at
the sale prices.
If anyone from
Kiwanis would like to do that they could let me know.
Mardy is in charge of scheduling volunteers. The hours are:
