What’s Goin On In The Patch
Associate
editor Matt Schroeder described Patch.com as your own little patch in the world
where you can go to get information or sound off.
When
you go to www.portwashington-wi.patch.com
you will see current local news, they try to update the news part twice daily,
and so much more. If you are thinking about going out to eat you can find
descriptions of the cuisine and even a Google map of a restaurant’s location.
Each
Patch has an editor who lives in the local area. For the Port/ Saukville area it
is Lyssa Beyer. Reporters like Lisa Kaminski are paid per article they
contribute. Matt is an associate editor working with the local editors, of
which there are 12 in S E Wisconsin.
Have
a little fun and see what is going on in other communities by going to the Home
page www.patch.com and select another location.

The objective was to have fun and raise money for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Ozaukee County and they did. Karen brought in Terry Mulenberg to pinch bowl for her.

We
need everyone’s help in stuffing Easter Eggs. Join us in the lower level of
Tello’s on Tuesday April 5th. This is our off Tuesday, not our
regular meeting night.

Web Site Revived
Our
web site is being updated. You can now find the Newsletter archived under the
“News”. The calendar is now up to date so you can check meeting times,
locations and when available the speaker or topic. You can help keep the
calendar up to date by emailing Jerry the information. Minutes of the Club
Board will soon be archived there also. Pictures will be update, but it will
take some time.
When
you log in you will find a Member Directory and, in the future, you can check
program assignments. See Jerry for the user name and password. Using the same
user name and password, you can log into the members only area of the Photo
Gallery. Here you can find photos of our activities with children in them. We
don’t want pictures of the children available to the general public.
